Weekend Updates…

Betwixt and between taking care of family stuff, I’m still working hard on LUCI: Rhoades to Recovery and hoping that the time will soon come when I will be able to do a public book signing of some sort locally (to either San Diego or Los Angeles). I’d originally hoped to be able to do something along those lines just before COVID-19 struck, so as you can guess, that didn’t end up happening.

And then the various media conventions were forced to cancel events due to potential for even more disease spread.

Yes, it’s better that things were canceled, since the goal is to minimize infections, but I and so many others have felt the effects of fewer opportunities to connect with our fans and/or encourage new fans.

Anyhow…

I still seem to be on track for a release of the second LUCI book on or about March 30, 2021, which is a day short of the first anniversary of the release of LUCI: Rhoades to Hell. Writing the first draft takes time, and after that, one needs to go through the book multiple times in search of mundane errors, and then anything beyond that that interferes with the flow of the story.

It would be nice if it was a one and done sort of thing, but it’s not, but that’s a good thing. I’m sure that you have picked up a book where it was obvious that much skimping was done on the editorial side of things and that, to me, can make for a very painful read.

Very not fun.

And with that, it’s back to work with family stuff. I plan to get back to writing again tonight, once I return home.

Wish me luck!
