Watching FLIPPER on TCM.
Sandy’s Dad (Chuck “The Rifleman” Connors) lets Flipper out of the fish pen against Sandy’s tearful wishes. The dolphin swims merrily away, pectoral fin raised in a hearty “fuck you!” to the human boy who would have kept him captive.
(Later that night, Sandy’s Father awakens to find Sandy standing over him, machete held high.)
Sandy, in an odd sing-song voice: “I hate you, Father. Now I have somewhere special for YOU to go.”
High pitched screams ensue, ending in a terrible gurgling sound.
(fade to black)
Eerie Chorus: They call him Flipper, Flipper! More evil than Cthulhu! No one you see, can withstand his wheeWHHEEs!
They call him Flipper, Flipper! Bloodthirstier than an Elder God! He’s calling for your blood! Spilt in the sea!!
